ToggleWHAT HAPPENED?
The 56-year-old musician, who was the lead songwriter for Oasis, cut a cool and composed figure while City fans around him celebrated another convincing win. Manchester native Gallagher was in the away end at Craven Cottage and watched on in the sunshine as Pep Guardiola's men leapfrogged title rivals Arsenal into first place in the table – and closed the goal difference gap to just two.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
A brace from in-form defender Josko Gvardiol and strikes from both Phil Foden and Julian Alvarez saw City make it seven wins on the spin in the Premier League. Fulham barely laid a glove on the champions and had centre-back Issa Diop sent off in second-half stoppage time for a foul on Alvarez which resulted in a penalty.

WHAT NEXT FOR CITY?
City are now just two wins away from becoming the first team in Premier League history to win the title in four consecutive seasons. Up next for City is a trip to bogey team Tottenham before they host West Ham on the final day. If Arsenal lose at Manchester United on Sunday, a first top-flight win at Spurs' new stadium would secure the crown for Guardiola's outfit.
